Futures' comms team up for national award

Futures Housing Group’s communications team has again been shortlisted for a national award.

For the second year in a row the team features as a finalist at the Public Sector Communications Awards (PSCAs), in the Internal Communications category.

The "Join the Digital Revolution" campaign, aimed at staff from September to December 2016, was designed to help the Group’s employees get-to-grips with the introduction of innovative technology.

Tools such as Skype for Business are helping the Group to provide effortless customer experiences.

As a finalist for the awards, the team is up against organisations such as the NHS, Police, Land Registry and other public sector companies.

Mike Underwood, Head of Communications at Futures, said: "This was one of the biggest internal communication campaigns we've ever run here at Futures and as a team, was among our best work of 2016.

"We're delighted to have been named alongside some hugely influential organisations for the award, which is an indication of the high standards of the campaign itself and the level we aspire to be at."

In 2016 Futures made the shortlist of the PSCAs, scooping the best Small In-House Communications Team Award.
