Whilst the Street Wardens will always help you as much as they can, there are times when they can’t carry out duties. Some examples are:
Arrange for rubbish or furniture collection for tenants and residents
Although the Street Wardens can’t remove the rubbish or furniture for you, they will give you the details of the Special Collection Scheme run by Amber Valley Borough Council.
Clear leaves, moss or weeds
The Street Wardens can’t do this but they will refer concerns on Futures Homescape land to the correct department for action.
Carry out repairs to properties
The Street Wardens aren’t part of our Repairs Team, but they will provide you the contact details for our Customer Services team, or contact them on you behalf if you ask them to.
Look after your home for you
Although the Street Wardens are in their designated area everyday, they can’t look after your home for you when you are away. They will report any emergency repair they identify and may assist the Neighbourhood Officer if we have to gain access to your home.
Provide an emergency service
The Street Wardens do not provide an emergency response service like the Police. If they can help they will do and this will be as quickly as possible but may not be on the same day.
