Aids and adaptations
Futures Homescape provides a service to help tenants needing minor adaptations, allowing them to remain independent in their homes.
You may need minor aids and adaptations to your home such as grab rails, additional stair rails or lever taps.
If you need this kind of assistance we will:
- visit you in your home to assess your needs
- advise you on whether your request meets the criteria for minor adaptations
- complete the works within 31 days of the assessment being undertaken.
For major adaptation works, such as installing a level access shower, you should contact Derbyshire County Council Social Services for information and advice. We will provide you with support, advice and assistance whilst you do this.
