What type of bank account do I need?
Most current accounts at banks and building societies can pay Direct Debits. Some special deposit accounts can also pay Direct Debits. Just ask at your bank or building society branch.
What information do I need to set up a Direct Debit?
You will need your name, address and payment reference as well as your bank/building society details (including the account number, sort code and the name(s) on the account).
What do I do if I have a query about my Direct Debit?
Call us during office hours and our team will be happy to help you.
Do I need to do anything after I have set my Direct Debit up?
No. Other than making sure you have enough money in your bank to cover the payment when it is due.
When is the payment collected?
We will automatically collect payments from your bank account on a date selected by you. You can choose from the 1st, 7th, 15th or 21st of the month.
What happens if my rent changes?
Futures Homescape will advise you of any changes at least 10 days before your payment is collected.
How do I cancel my Direct Debit?
If you change your mind about using Direct Debit write to us and we will cancel your Direct Debit. You will need to start paying by a different method. Remember to inform your bank or building society that the Direct Debit is to be cancelled
How do I get back any money paid in error?
If a payment is made in error you should contact your bank or building society for a full and immediate refund.
