If you have been successful bidding for a property, you will be contacted where possible by telephone within 3 days of the shortlist closing. If we cannot contact you by telephone, you will receive a letter giving you details of the property.
Where possible, we will invite you to view the property whilst under repair so you can make a decision on whether the property is right for you. We will also keep you updated about when the property will be ready to let.
When the property is ready to let, we will arrange for you to sign the tenancy for the property, we will show you how to use the boiler and heating controls and help you with any benefit forms you have to complete. We will also give you information on setting up your gas and electric accounts should you need it.
All of our properties that are let meet the Lettable Standard.
When you move into the property you will receive a “Welcome Pack” in the property, along with copies of the works carried out and the gas and EPC certificate. You may also have to contact our Repairs team to have your gas boiler re-commissioned if it has been turned off. We may also arrange for your garden to be cleared/cut if this is necessary.
We will contact you after you have moved in to make sure everything is ok and a settling in visit will be carried out within 6 weeks of moving in.
