Playing Cards
We designed and developed a pack of playing cards for young people that include facts on health, homelessness, recipes and useful phone numbers. These exciting cards offer top tips for young people just starting out.
Health and Wellbeing Project
Our Health and Wellbeing project provides shower tokens for anyone sofa surfing or sleeping rough. We also provide laundrette tokens for people who are sofa surfing or have moved into temporary accommodation.
Along with Riverside ECHG and Derbyshire Healthy Schools we designed healthy eating recipe cards for young families to encourage them to cook healthy meals on a budget. Read more about the Health and Wellbeing Project.
Pre-tenancy Training Programme
We successfully ran a course for people before they started their tenancy with us.This course received sponsorship from Tesco, Wilkinson, Sainsburys, Morrisons and Dominos and support from, Blend Youth Project, Riverside ECHG, Amber Valley Borough Council and Broxtowe Youth Homeless Group. The course provided advice on DIY, Housing Options, budgeting, healthy eating and confidence building. To read the full story click here.
