What is Anti-Social Behaviour?
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) is ‘’behaviour which causes or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more people who are not in the same household as the perpetrator’’.
The following types of behaviour could be considered to be ASB:
- Violence or threats of violence towards any person
- Racist behaviour including written or verbal abuse
- Prostitution
- Criminal activity in properties
- Drug abuse or drug dealing
- Alcohol abuse
- Verbal abuse and offensive behaviour
- Domestic violence
- Damaging property
- Malicious telephone calls
- Writing graffiti
- Throwing things off balconies or out of windows
- Blocking communal areas
- Storing petrol, diesel, paraffin or vehicles powered by those fuels in shared areas
