Our vision and objectives

We aim to have a consistent and dedicated approach to involving residents both formally and informally, offering the opportunities for involvement to everyone regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation and religion.

Our objectives are:

Community Development

• To ensure maximum impact on the community through delivery of sustainable projects and initiatives resulting in satisfaction and value for money.
• To contribute to sustainable neighbourhoods through supporting neighbourhood objectives, responding to resident priorities and optimising partnership working.
• Build resident and community capacity to tackle and respond to issues within their neighbourhood.

• To have all team members and Board Directors committed to resident involvement.
• To ensure all engagement is inclusive i.e. is representative and involves members of the community in a manner that suits their needs and preferences.
• To ensure tenants are positively involved in shaping and monitoring standards and improvements in policy and services.
• Provide opportunities for tenants to influence services and be involved in decision making at a local level but also at Board and through Scrutiny.
• To actively seek and maintain up to date customer knowledge to inform and shape our services.
• To ensure tenants are kept informed about the services we provide and any changes in policy and service improvements

By following the above objectives we will be able to deliver a qualitive framework for resident involvement which recognises that not all tenants wnat to be involved in the same way and at the same time, but gives them the opportunities to participate if they wish.
