We can provide assistance to you in a number of ways:
Expenses
Futures Homescape aims to make access and attendance at all of our events open to anyone wishing to attend. We may be able to cover reasonable costs incurred for childcare or travel, or provide transport for you to attend. For more information on our expenses policy please contact the Community Development team on 01773 573100.
Training
Futures Homescape can offer training to help you in your role. If you are actively involved with us but feel that you would like to increase your skills or knowledge we can provide training or source other providers to help you in a number of ways. Please contact a member of the Community Development team for more information on the training opportunities that may be available to you.
Establishing Residents Group
If you and your neighbours wish to set up a residents group we can assist you by helping you to set up a constitution and source training for your committee roles. We can also help you to promote your group by producing posters and flyers. There is even an annual grants funding programme available to recognised residents groups who meet the necessary criteria.
Signposting to Other Organisations
There may be occasions when we cannot provide the information or guidance that you require, but at these times we will assist you by directing you towards groups or organisations that we think will be able to deal with your query and assist your needs. Such organisations include Amber Valley Community Voluntary Services who can provide guidance on a great deal of issues.
Funding for Community and Voluntary Groups
If you are part of a community group who requires funding to support your group and its aims, then we may be able to grant funding through our Community Chest Fund. We have previously been able to support a great number and wide range of organisations such as Alfreton Party in The Park, Ambergate Carnival and Hope For Belper, to name but a few.
