Each year we aim to recognise which members of our communities make a real difference to people’s lives.
We have been running our Good Neighbour of The Year award since 2004 and the categories include 0-24 years, 25-60 years and 60+ years.
We would like to encourage all of our residents to nominate someone who goes that extra mile to help others, no matter how big or small their contribution is.
We have had nominations from people whose neighbours have helped them during illness, welcomed them to a new area, or have set up projects in their community which have improved the lives of others.
Nominating your neighbour is the perfect way to say thank you to someone that deserves special recognition.
The competition is run at the end of the year and the winners have the choice of High Street Gift Vouchers or a Christmas Hamper full of goodies for the festive season! We also hold an award ceremony to congratulate all of the nominees and award the winner of Good Neighbour of The Year.
