Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I would like to be involved but can’t attend meetings, is there any other way?

A: We have a wide range of involvement opportunities and will always try to find something that meets your interests and needs. It may be possible that you complete surveys and questionnaires for us over the phone or by post, that way you can do it in your own home at a time to suit you.

Q: I want to attend an event but I do not have transport, how else can I get there?

A: We always try to make our meetings and events as accessible as possible and in locations that we think everyone will be able to get to. We do encourage attendees to use public transport where possible, but where this is not easily done we can cover reasonable costs for transport, or provide transport for you.

Q: I have children but would still like to attend meetings, is there anything else I can do?

A: If suitable we can cover costs for childcare but this will need to be with a registered provider. We also stage Family Fun Day events where you can attend with all the family and still have the opportunity to give us your views and take part in consultation, as well as find out information about our services and other local organisations that may be of interest to you.

Q: I am interested in being involved but may not be able to commit all the time, is there anything else I can do?

A: We understand that our residents are busy people with many other commitments, but we also know that you want the opportunity to have your say and are interested in finding out more. We will always aim to find a method of involvement that is appropriate to your needs and availability. This may be through focus groups or the completion of surveys and questionnaires. We also hold occasional events where you can meet staff and give us your views. To find out about the various ways to become involved, have a look at our Resident Involvement statement here or read the section on How To Get Involved

Q: I would like to find out more information and register my interest to become involved?

A: If you would like more information on how to get involved and to register you interest, contact the Community Development team on 01773 573100 or email us at getinvolved@futureshomescape.co.uk
