Our approach to building new homes ensures that the needs of our local neighbourhoods are our top priority.
The group's development team aims to complete 50-60 new homes annually and plans are in place for completion of 100 new homes this year. Our developments are designed to meet a wide range of needs - from supported accommodation for adults with learning disabilities and homes for affordable rent, to shared ownership properties for first-home residents, couples and families.
We work with local authorities to support their empty homes strategies, by purchasing and repairing privately-owned homes and providing them to people in housing need.
All new developments meet high levels of environmental and build standards to reduce environmental impact.
We are also keen to support local employment and our approach includes working with local developers and encouraging the appointment of new apprentices.
Through membership of the Quantum Consortium we have access to Homes and Communities Agency funding and have consistently achieved green lights for development in our annual assessments.
