Funding
Daventry & District Housing has formed a partnership with Cummins and Lovell to be able to offer a new Community Chest fund across the Daventry district. The fund provides funding (up to £5,000) and/or labour for small projects that will improve local areas and benefit communities across the district.
The money is earmarked for sustainable community projects in the district to improve community buildings and facilities. Any project idea will be considered that will enhance the local environment and make the community a nicer place in which to live. We will consider any idea from any person, organisation or group from within the district including Schools and Parish Councils. We will look at the project in terms of providing funding and/or labour such as landscaping, tree planting, painting, decorating, general labour etc.

How are projects selected?
The decisions are made by a panel made up of DDH tenants and local business representatives. There will be four selection panel meetings a year. The panel will assess the applications after the deadline then decide which projects they would like to progress and will then invite those applicants to give a presentation about the project to their panel. The presentations will take place two weeks after the deadline. You will be informed of the outcome of your application 3 weeks after the deadline.
