Lifeline
We know that many people live alone and are vulnerable in an emergency. To help provide peace of mind we also provide a Lifeline service.
A Lifeline is a small unit that connects to your telephone. It has a red button and a discreet pendant, which you can wear around your neck or wear on your wrist. You can press the button in an emergency to connect to the warden call centre.
The Lifeline is for anyone who wants to live an independent life but with reassurance that help is at hand should an emergency arise. The Lifeline service gives advice and assistance and can call relatives or the emergency services if needed. Anyone who lives in Daventry District can have a Lifeline - you don’t have to live in social housing.
The Lifeline is quick and easy to install, all you need is a modern telephone socket and a three-pin electric socket nearby.
There is a service charge for this service.
