The handyperson service is charged by the hour and we have subsidised the cost to make it affordable.
Tenants who are disabled or over 75 years do not have to pay the VAT so they will only charged £10 per hour.
The charge is for the time of a skilled operative to carry out work in your home.
We will not supply the materials to complete the job (for example if you need a Neighbourhood Support Operative to put up a shelf please ensure you have the shelf and brackets before they arrive).
If you need large amounts of waste or bulky items to be removed after the job there may be an additional charge. If you need a job doing please call us on 01327 707500 to book an appointment.
Decorating Service
As part of our handy person service we offer a decorating service.
Examples of this type of work include wallpaper hanging and painting. In order to complete decorating work a Neighbourhood Support Operative will visit your home before booking the job.
A free inspection will be carried out and a quote given to you for the work. This explains the materials that will be needed and how long the job will take.
