Dr Mark Flynn
Futures Housing Group, Independent Board Director and Chair
Mark has a wealth of experience on the Boards of grass roots charities and possesses a strong knowledge of governance derived from a further education background. He is a former principal of a college and is now the Chief Operations Officer of SENAD Group.
Léann Hearne
Futures Homescape, Chair
As Chair of Futures Homescape, Léann is also a Board Director of Futures Housing Group. Léann is Operations Director for The ExtraCare Charitable Trust, a specialist provider of older people’s services in a unique environment. Having also spent a number of years in leading organisations in the private sector, she has a broad set of skills and a wide range of experience to aid and support both Futures Housing Group and Futures Homescape in their aims.
Elaine Bradbury
Daventry & District Housing, Chair
As Chair of Daventry & District Housing, Elaine is also a Board Director of Futures Housing Group. Elaine is a lawyer for Central Bedfordshire Council and has a wealth of experience in planning and housing matters. She works closely with the strategic housing team at Daventry & District Housing which keeps her up to speed with developments in social housing.
Councillor Richard Atterbury
Daventry & District Housing Board Director
As a nominated Council representative on the Board of Daventry & District Housing, Richard is also a nominated Board Director of Futures Housing Group. Richard has been an elected councillor for the Crick and Winnwick ward for over 15 years. Having lived in the area for the last 35 years he is also a local Parish Councillor and has served on the council’s Scrutiny Committee. At Daventry District Council he has been Portfolio Holder for the Environment, and Vice Chair of the Planning Committee since 2008..
Dennis Macharaga
Futures Housing Group, Independent Board Director
Dennis has been involved with the housing association field for the last 10 years, being on the committee of one of the largest housing associations in the country. Dennis is a Solicitor and brings experience in management, business planning, staff management and equality issues. He brings his wider experience in private practice as a lawyer to Futures Housing Group.
Hari Punchihewa
Futures Housing Group, Independent Board Director
Hari is the Deputy Chief Executive and Finance Director of the University of Derby. His responsibilities include looking after all physical resources including estates, procurement, IT and corporate finance. In addition, he is responsible for legal, commercial and business development activities. Hari also holds a number of non-executive positions outside the sector and has been appointed as a Magistrate and Justice of the Peace.
Tony Taylor
Futures Housing Group, Independent Board Director
Tony Taylor was Waterloo Housing Association’s first employee and, as Chief Executive, led the association to become a major provider of social housing throughout the West Midlands, until his retirement in 2009. He is highly experienced in governance having successfully served as a Housing Corporation Statutory Appointee on a number of occasions. Tony was also a Visiting Fellow at Birmingham City University from 2005 to 2008.
Ian Toal
Futures Homescape, Board Director
As an Independent Board Director of Futures Homescape, Ian is also a nominated Board Director of Futures Housing Group. Ian began his career with companies such as Spillers Homepride, Courtaulds, RHM, Whitworths, and Brakes and was Managing Director of IAWS Foods UK from 2008-11. Recently he was appointed Chief Executive of Adams Group. He brings significant business management, development and operational experience to the Group.
